Oil and Gas Westminster Hall Debate


Jamie Stone led a Westminster Hall debate on consumer protections for new central heating systems.

A number of constituents have voiced concerns about the lack of protections for people who have received grants towards the cost of new central heating systems.

When a customer purchases a new central heating system with government grants or through the levy scheme from a large utility company, consumer protections are reduced. As many of these are green schemes, the environmentally conscious are in essence being penalised.
